Since earning his master’s degree in oenology from U.C. Davis, Craig has been making wine in the Napa Valley. After apprenticing at Chappellet and Markham, Craig crafted wines for Cain Vineyard and Winery (93 points, Wine Spectator) and at Spring Mountain Vineyard, where one of his wines earned a ranking of Number 17 in the World by W.S.

Craig then authored Kelham MacLean Wines, where two of his wines were designated a Wine Enthusiast Editors’ Choice. Subsequently, Craig has served as independent winemaker for a host of vineyards, including Ahnfeldt, Vito Bialla, Brookdale, Ilsley, Juslyn, and Schrader Vineyards.

Craig is the master winemaker for JAQK, as well as one of its founders.
